Piraeus Bank Group decided to implement CardioLog Analytics when they began production on their Knowledge Base portal. “It was very important for us to monitor how, when, and where the portal was being used by our employees”, says Dimos Mantas Application Developer at Piraeus Bank.
“Microsoft Hellas recommended CardioLog Analytics as the best solution to satisfy our needs for analytical and in-depth usage reports that SharePoint cannot provide out of the box,” says Dimos Mantas. “The installation and implementation of CardioLog Analytics was a ‘piece of cake’. You don’t need to be an expert to implement CardioLog Analytics, just follow the installation wizard’s instructions. Of course when you are not sure about something you can still ask Intlock’s support team and receive a quick answer.”
CardioLog Analytics provides Piraeus Bank with a variety of useful analytical reports and statistics, for example; unique users, page views, visits, and internal searches – filtered by date range and in any part of the portal, These reports help ensure the success of the portal and its growth. By generating and distributing reports automatically, CardioLog Analytics provides daily reports to members of the Piraeus Knowledge Base team who are responsible for monitoring and controlling the portal’s activity. Managers and supervisors also receive periodic reports with the content they are responsible for and interested in.
By using CardioLog Analytics Piraeus Bank Group is able to make corrective or preventive actions in order to improve the portal and increase employee’s productivity. “For example the report of unique users gives very useful information about the top portal visitors, what content they viewed, when they visit the portal, and for how long,” says Dimos Mantas. “Furthermore, our MOSS installation has a custom search page that implements ajax calls. CardioLog Analytics was customized to record clicks and searches from this page.”
